Radiologic Technologist

As a Radiologic Technologist - CT Scan Specialist at Lee Health, you will be responsible for performing all CT procedures and maintaining a thorough working knowledge of the operation of all equipment in the CT area. You will safely operate the scanner and injector in order to produce diagnostic quality CT images. You will understand the computer software of the CT scanners and maintain competency in CT area. You will consistently apply working knowledge pertaining to CT anatomy and patho-physiology to produce a high standard of quality images while under the direction of a radiologist. You will provide appropriate and safe patient care. You will work positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. You will participate in performance improvement initiatives. You will participate in staff/student orientation and training. You will perform venipuncture for appropriate exams. You may transport non-narcotic medications as directed.
Requirements
Education: Graduation of JRCERT (Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology) Accredited or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) approved Radiography Program required
Experience: No experience required
Certification: BLS required
