We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide/CNA to provide high-quality care to our elder Franciscan sisters. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care, as well as documenting care and communicating with residents, family members, and staff.
This is a full-time position working days (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) and afternoons (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) in a convent home environment in Chicago. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including annual pay increases, affordable health insurance, competitive retirement program, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to elder Franciscan sisters, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
- Document care and communicate with residents, family members, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure ongoing needs of residents are met according to established standards.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide certification on file with the state in which the health services are located is a plus but not required.
- Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.
