Tech - Echo Imaging Specialist

About the Role:
The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision. The ideal candidate will have independent judgment and initiative of a technical level, with knowledge of regulatory bodies such as The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
* Performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision.
* Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g. The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards and guidelines.
* Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
* Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
Requirements:
* High School Graduate or equivalent required.
* Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
* One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
* Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license required.
* Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required.
* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
