Job Summary

Pathway Group is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a manufacturing environment. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) lathes and mills, producing high-quality parts and tools from various materials, including aluminum and steel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC lathe and mill machines and equipment from setup to operation with existing programs and tooling information.
  • Produce parts and tools from different resources, ensuring quality specifications and production demands are met.
  • Monitor machinery and equipment, inspecting in-process and finished products to ensure quality and production standards.
  • Perform basic daily maintenance on machinery as needed.
  • Assist in creating a safe workplace and participate in safety initiatives.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience and formal training.
  • Ability to analyze information provided on blueprints or other documents to ensure final products meet specifications.
  • Hands-on experience with quality inspection metrology using measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with CNC lathe and mill.
  • Ability to read blueprints, routing, and shop aids.
  • Mathematical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and computer literacy.

Work Environment:

Monday - Friday, 2 pm to 10:30 pm, with possible Saturday overtime. Must be able to train in the morning from 5 am to 1:30 pm for 2 to 4 weeks.
