Job Description

US Tax Services LLC is a reputable accounting and tax firm in the Tigard area. The growth of the business necessitates the creation of a new tax accountant position to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing both business and individual income tax returns for numerous clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Request, collect, and compile all necessary documents needed to prepare tax returns
• Process federal, state, and local tax returns for both individuals and businesses
• Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
• Maintain constant communication with the IRS, State Agencies, and our clients and team members
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
• Work with tax returns and analyze financial information to ensure taxes are paid on time.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bookkeeping: 2 years
  • Payroll: 2 years
  • Tax Preparation: 1-2 years

  • CPA or CPA Candidate
  • Licensed Tax Consultant
  • Licensed Tax Preparer
  • QuickBooks Pro Adviser
