Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of systems administrators and engineers in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies for upgrading our technology and improving our services.
  • Collaborate with developers and support teams to solve complex problems and meet customer priorities and schedules.
  • Manage day-to-day tasking of the team, scheduling tasks and projects, generating accurate estimates, and reallocating resources as needed.
  • Communicate status and roadblocks to management and customers.

Requirements:

  • Three years' experience as a supervisor of a team.
  • Hands-on experience in administering RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), VMWare, and other systems administration tools.
  • Knowledge of networking, switches, routers, gateways, and firewalls.
  • Experience with system scans, remediation, regular patching, system backups, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Good problem-solving skills and high level of communication ability.

Clearance: Secret or higher. No interim Secret clearances accepted.
