About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and OR teams during surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment
  • Maintain aseptic techniques, handling equipment and supplies with precision and care
  • Participate in preoperative preparation, including patient positioning and transporting
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless case execution
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current enrollment in an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $60,000 to $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
