Medical Healthcare Specialist

We are seeking a Medical Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas. As a key member of our healthcare services, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive reproductive healthcare services to patients.
Job Description- Provide direct patient care including history review, health education, physical exams, counseling, diagnosis and treatment according to protocols and meeting productivity goals.
- Work collaboratively with management, Health Services, and Chief Operating Medical Services Officer (COMSO) to provide the highest quality of patient care and excellent patient experience.
- Abide by the organization's mission in performing job duties and participate as a member of a team providing confidential, quality healthcare services.
- Obtain, record, review, and interpret medical and social histories of patients.
- Perform male and female physical examinations with special emphasis on the reproductive system.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies as indicated and permitted by medical protocols.
- Comply with all Planned Parenthood policies and Medical Standards and Guidelines.
- Master's degree (or equivalent) and certification in specialty as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant.
- Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant in reproductive healthcare or women's health is strongly preferred.
- Competitive salary: $$90,000 per year.
