About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at K&L Gates LLP. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our team, including typing correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Maintain files, distribute mail, and perform various administrative tasks
  • Use various software types to edit, proofread, copy, and distribute documents
  • Maintain calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Answer telephones, direct calls, and greet visitors
  • Distribute and screen correspondence, and make travel arrangements
  • Assist with reception/switchboard, office services, conference center, records, or library duties
  • Support firm initiatives, including partner meetings, employee meetings, charitable events, and client meetings
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Administrative experience working in professional services or related office preferred
  • Internet and personal computer proficiency with intermediate Microsoft Office 2010 and Outlook skills
  • Accurate typing of no less than 50 wpm
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate requests and instructions effectively to employees and clients
  • Frequently work in a fast-paced environment with unscheduled interruptions
  • Responsibilities may require adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening/weekend hours
