About the Role
Gunderson Dettmer is seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of legal service delivery. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing robust ETL processes with performance monitoring, creating data integrations between various cloud-based software solutions and platforms, and managing and optimizing enterprise data warehouse on RDBMS with a complex Dim/Fact data model for analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage ETL processes with performance monitoring.
- Create data integrations between various cloud-based software solutions and platforms.
- Manage and optimize enterprise data warehouse on RDBMS with a complex Dim/Fact data model for analytics.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and coherent data processes and delivery of high-quality data products.
- Improve and maintain quality control, implementing best practices to ensure data products meet our standards of reliability, usability, and performance.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience designing, building, and managing ETL processes with a variety of tools.
- Significant experience with iPaaS tools, API technologies, data transformation tools, RDBMS platforms, and noSQL databases.
- Proficiency writing Python scripts and SQL queries.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit.
- Excellent communication skills, underpinning effective collaboration with various teams and subject-matter experts.
Location:
Work out of any of our firm's U.S. offices or remotely.
