Public Health Nurse

As a Public Health Nurse - Maternal Child Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing community health nursing services to families and individuals in our community. This part-time position requires a skilled and compassionate nurse to work with our team to promote health and well-being in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide community health nursing services to families and individuals in our community
- Participate in program planning and development to promote health and well-being in our community
- Represent community health nursing in community groups and provide nursing expertise and support
- Assess, plan, evaluate, and implement general community health nursing services in assigned areas of responsibility or special programs
- Make home or office visits to provide direct patient care and teach patients and families about health and wellness
- Plan and exchange information with physicians and other health workers to provide effective care for patients
- Maintain records for nursing services and make reports as required
- Develop and maintain effective, harmonious, and reasonable work relationships with others
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license and an acceptable driving record at the time of appointment
- Bilingual in Spanish required
