About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at H&M Group. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit growth, while delivering exceptional customer service and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and profit growth through effective merchandising, visual displays, and customer engagement
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales results
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives, including sales, profit, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and replenishment to ensure optimal product availability and minimize stockouts
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring a consistent and appealing store environment
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities to drive sales growth
  • Develop and implement action plans to address sales and profit gaps, working closely with the store management team
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives, ensuring compliance and promoting a positive work environment
Requirements
  • 1-2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of driving sales and profit growth, with a strong focus on customer service and team development
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and identify opportunities for growth
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting sales and profit targets
  • Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other retail software
  • Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds, with the ability to stand for long periods of time and move around the store
