Job Summary:

Guidehouse is seeking a skilled Patient Account Representative to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in processing overpayments made to our Management Services Organization (MSO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process returned refunds and validate refund department batches.
  • Communicate issues to management in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisors.
  • Utilize good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills are required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of related experience and general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing.
  • Knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 coding is a plus.
