Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floral Designer to join our team at Service Corporation International. As a key member of our funeral services team, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for families and clients.

Responsibilities
  • Review and clarify orders for accuracy and product availability
  • Prioritize work to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery of arrangements
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering calls, greeting clients, and discussing product options
  • Collaborate with funeral directors to clarify contractual requests and resolve issues
  • Design and arrange bouquets, wreaths, and other floral items using knowledge of design principles and materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized design work area and flower cooler
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver floral arrangements and take precautions to secure designs during transportation
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; training in floral design preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in floral design, with demonstrated knowledge of floral products and design
  • Valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Certificate from a School of Floral Design preferred
Work Environment

This role requires frequent standing, climbing stairs, and physical effort. You will work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and may be required to travel to multiple locations.
