Job Overview

Automationtechies is seeking a skilled Control Systems Specialist to join our team in Lexington, KY. As a key member of our Controls and Mechanical Engineers team, you will play a crucial role in developing automation solutions that meet customer satisfaction, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation solutions using PLC programming with Allen Bradley
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers during scope and specification meetings
  • Design and develop automation systems using AutoCAD Electrical design
  • Contribute to sales and marketing activities to promote our automation solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 2-year degree in automation and controls with 5 years of direct experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD or other CAD software
  • At least 3 years of experience in PLC programming with Allen Bradley
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and grasp new concepts quickly
  • Organization and attention to details are essential
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
