We are seeking a skilled Driver to join our team at Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS). As a Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our clients who require assistance with mobility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and drive company vehicles in accordance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Follow assigned schedules to ensure timely delivery or pick-up of passengers.
  • Respond to calls from Dispatch for pick-up in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload goods or assist passengers in boarding and alighting the vehicles as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior, including bi-weekly vehicle cleaning and conducting regular monthly inspections and maintenance logs to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while driving, ensuring the safety of passengers, goods, and pedestrians.
  • Manage WEX Card associated with assigned vehicle in accordance with policy.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, LBHS staff, clients, or passengers to address any concerns or changes in the transportation schedule.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery or trip logs, and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, or vehicle damage immediately to the relevant authorities and management.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor during interactions with clients or passengers.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and valid car insurance.
  • Clean driving record with no history of major accidents or traffic violations.
  • Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading.
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen.
  • Must be 25 years or older.
