Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director with a background in Pediatrics to lead our client's pediatric department and ensure exceptional patient care, medical excellence, and staff development.
  • The ideal candidate will provide clinical oversight, strategic direction, and expertise to enhance pediatric healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. As a Pediatric Physician, you will provide direct patient care services and maintain a patient caseload.
  2. Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care to patients.
  3. Collaborate with pediatric staff to establish and maintain clinical protocols and guidelines.
  4. Review and approve treatment plans, diagnoses, and patient care strategies.
  5. Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  6. Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes, safety, and satisfaction within the pediatric department.
  7. Analyze data related to pediatric care quality and outcomes and implement improvements as needed.
  8. Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate pediatric clinicians and support staff.
  9. Foster a culture of ongoing learning and professional development within the pediatric department.

Requirements

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with specialty in Pediatrics.
  • Previous leadership experience required, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric best practices, evidence-based medicine, and patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to promoting patient safety, quality of care, and a culture of continuous improvement.
