Business Development Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development professional to join our team at Tidewater Staffing Solutions. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the custom metal fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competition.
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets and enhance market share in existing ones.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the metal fabrication or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong ability to identify potential clients and turn opportunities into revenue.
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical clients.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and create strategies for growth.
  • Competence in preparing sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
