As an IT Service Center Technician at TCAT Shelbyville, you will be part of a team that cares, listens, and encourages growth and innovation.

About the Role

This full-time, non-exempt position provides technical support and assistance to students, faculty, and staff across all TCAT Shelbyville locations. You will work under the supervision of TBR Service Desk and report directly to the VP of Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and network devices.
  • Provide training and guidance to users of college technology resources.
  • Collaborate with other IT staff and vendors to ensure optimal performance and security of the college's technology infrastructure.
  • Educate and train users on how to use computer applications and devices effectively.

About the Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate degree or diploma from an accredited technical training program applicable to the field and one year of recent and relevant experience, or high school diploma or equivalency and two years of recent and relevant experience.
  • Documentation of CompTIA A+ or other related certifications.
  • A valid driver's license.

The estimated salary for this role is between $41,651 and $52,064 annually, commensurate with experience and TBR/Tennessee College of Applied Technology salary guidelines.
