Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse with Catholic Health System, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading our healthcare team. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse, responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing care on their shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the overall planning, organizing, directing, decision making, and evaluation of the delivery of nursing care on their shift.
• Assist in the management of resources necessary and appropriate for the provision of achievement of positive patient outcomes.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect among team members and patients.

Requirements:

• Currently licensed in New York State.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing currently registered in New York State.
• BLS validation and revalidation in accordance with AHA standards. ACLS within 6 months of hire.
