Job Overview

$65,000 - $85,000 per year

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the operation, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of equipment and facilities in the deck and engineering department areas.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will participate in the transport, staging, troubleshooting, and repair of Naval Southeast Region watercraft.

  • Transporting and staging vessels for maintenance and repair
  • Assisting with logistics procurement and supply inventories
  • Performing duties concerned with the operation, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of equipment and facilities
  • Securing cargo and positioning blocking at the bottom and sides of vessels
  • Examining installation orders, drawings, and vessel maintenance requirements
  • Computer, logistic, and administrative skills highly desired

A valid Driver's License (CDL) is highly desired for this role.

Requirements

To succeed in this position, you should have personal tools commensurate to the position, a proven track record of excellence, and the willingness to work in a dynamic environment.

The physical demands of this role are light to moderate, and the work environment includes office, pier side, associated facilities, and aboard vessels and craft.
