Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Living Driver and Activity Coordinator to join our team at Hearthstone at Murrayhill. As a key member of our community, you will be responsible for transporting residents to medical appointments and outings, while also coordinating activities that promote socialization, engagement, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities
- Drive residents to medical appointments and outings safely and efficiently
- Coordinate logistics for transportation, including daily drive schedule, pick-up and drop-off locations, and appointment times
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting vehicles, ensuring their safety and security
- Prepare vehicles for transport, conducting regular inspections to ensure they are in good working order
- Develop and implement engaging activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities
- Welcome new residents to our community, providing a warm and welcoming environment
- Monitor residents' overall well-being and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous senior living experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks related to transportation and activity coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families
