About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for applying the skills and art of nuclear medicine imaging through safe and effective use of radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radionuclide therapy and prepare, perform QC, and dispense radiopharmaceuticals for off-hour procedures.
  • Perform urgent Nuclear Medicine procedures in an on-call status or in a single technologist staffing model.
  • Check orders for complete information and proper exam, and schedule exams as needed.
  • Obtain sufficient information to determine whether the exam should be performed immediately or within a specific time frame.
  • Adhere to established section and organizational protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Interact appropriately with patients and all care providers.
Requirements
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) (required).
  • State Licensure (preferred).
  • BLS Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (preferred at hire).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's from an ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) accredited institute (preferred).
  • 1 year of experience practicing Nuclear Medicine experience (preferred).
