Emergency Department Patient Care Technician

As a Patient Care Technician in our Emergency Department, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide basic patient care activities. This role requires a high school graduate or equivalent, with no prior experience necessary. You will be required to take and pass Memorial Medical Center's Patient Care Tech course within 90 days of hire. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Meet the qualifications for State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program
- Take and pass Memorial Medical Center's Patient Care Tech course within 90 days of hire
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- No prior experience necessary
- State Issued Nursing Assistant Certification or completion of Medical/Surgical semester from a school of nursing program
Working Conditions:
This role is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, rotating weekends.
