Job Summary

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide direct and indirect resident care activities under the direction of a licensed nurse. This role involves working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and ambulation.
  • Monitor and report any changes in a resident's condition or behavior to the Charge Nurse.
  • Document resident care and services provided.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid CNA certification that is in good standing with the State.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • The ability to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
  • The ability to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
What We Offer

Midwest Health offers a competitive salary range of $38,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
