As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in our team, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of patient problems, using pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions.
- Work autonomously and collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in process improvement and multidisciplinary clinical outcome improvement activities, utilizing advanced nursing expertise.
- Ensure safe care to patients, staff, and visitors, adhering to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and promote individual professional growth and development.
- Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program approved by the State of Texas and Masters required.
- Certified by a recognized national certification by the State of Texas in area of population foci and/or additional specialty recognition beyond the APRN.
- Licensed to practice professional nursing by the State of Texas and eligibility for full prescriptive authority by the State of Texas.
- Basic Cardiac Life Certification or Advanced Cardiac Life Certification.
- One (1) year of clinical experience preferred in area of intended practice.
- Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process by integrating our culture in all internal and external customer interactions.
