Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Agile Space Industries is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Propulsion Design Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced rocket propulsion systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for rocket propulsion systems
  • Conduct structural, thermal, and fluid analysis of components and systems
  • Create engineering drawings and plans for manufacturing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including test and manufacturing teams, as well as external suppliers
  • Practice critical problem-solving, task prioritization, and relationship management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience working with complex mechanisms and structures
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in team environments
  • Proficient with CAD software, such as SolidWorks
  • Established knowledge of solid and fluid mechanics concepts
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of mechatronics and precision mechanism design
  • Experience designing for extreme temperature, highly corrosive, or in-space environments
  • Experience with design for additive manufacturing and fluid system components
  • Proficiency in ANSYS and GD&T principles
