We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Health Coordinator to join our team at Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington DC, Inc. About the Role

The Clinical Health Coordinator will work closely with our clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring that each individual receives comprehensive and personalized attention. This includes conducting initial interviews, taking vital signs, performing basic lab tests, and assisting clinicians with procedures.

In addition to direct patient care, the Clinical Health Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and supporting laboratory functions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role, as the Coordinator will interact with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding patient care, including conducting initial interviews, taking vital signs, and performing basic lab tests.
  • Assist clinicians with procedures, ensuring that all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Support laboratory functions, including performing basic lab tests and preparing samples for analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a medical assistant preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service or related experience; family planning experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work accurately and with attention to detail.
Compensation

This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $24-$28 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
