MRI Technologist

Job Summary:

As an MRI Technologist at Trinity Health, you will be responsible for performing MRI procedures as requested by referring physicians. You will utilize MRI equipment and associated computer accessories to manipulate patient data and record images on hardcopy film. You will also prepare and/or administer contrast media as required for MRI procedures. Your role will involve direct patient care, assessing patient condition, and initiating life support measures if necessary.

Responsibilities:

Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Manipulate patient data and record images on hardcopy film.
Prepare and/or administer contrast media as required for MRI procedures.
Provide direct patient care, including assessing patient condition and initiating life support measures if necessary.

Requirements:

Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology or accredited program.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
At least 2 years prior employment in MRI.
Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to articulate and demonstrate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of the organization.
