Job Title: Maintenance Team Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Lead to direct and coordinate maintenance activities with team members, vendors, and contractors. The successful candidate will ensure minimal plant downtime through proper PM management, lead the maintenance staff, and foster teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage maintenance work requests from production floor, supervisors, and quality control teams, determining priority and assigning tasks to technicians.
  • Ensure team members comply with safety, best work, and manufacturing practices.
  • Provide advanced training to subordinates, maintain documentation of training records, and engage in regular team meetings to discuss priorities, improvements, and company policies.
  • Communicate equipment breakdowns and estimated repair times to production and quality assurance teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors, management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend operational improvements.
  • Maintain pre-planning of staffing and project organization during production, coordinating contractors, equipment, tools, parts, and team member staffing during non-production hours.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years of related experience, including prior supervisory experience.
  • Troubleshooting ability, technical knowledge of production equipment, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Estimated Salary Range:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
