Position Overview:
The Part-Time Box Office Representative/Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for working during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules. This role requires proficiency in operating computerized ticketing systems and handheld payment devices. The representative must possess a thorough understanding of event layouts and seating arrangements, engage positively with the public, and accurately account for all tickets sold and payments received at the end of each shift.

Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage of $15.00.

Benefits for Part-Time Roles:
Eligible employees can access a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, part-time, seasonal, and internship employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.

About the Venue:
The Central Bank Center, which includes the historic Rupp Arena, is a vital part of the Lexington community, known for hosting a variety of events. Rupp Arena, a 20,000-seat venue, is celebrated for its rich history in college basketball and has welcomed numerous world-renowned artists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect payments for event tickets and parking.
  • Provide courteous and effective service to the public.
  • Maintain accurate records of payments and tickets issued.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Research customer accounts as needed.
  • Offer constructive feedback to supervisors.
