Job Summary

At Soliant, we are seeking a qualified Teacher of the Visually Impaired to join our team. We are committed to providing inclusive and accessible education to visually impaired students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach visually impaired students using technology and virtual instruction
  • Create and implement individualized education plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for visually impaired students

Requirements:

  • Masters degree or higher in Education of the Visually Impaired or related field
  • Valid state teaching certification in Visual Impairment Education
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching visually impaired students
  • Proficiency in using technology for virtual instruction and assessments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport in a virtual environment
