At Methodist Charlton Medical Center, a 314-bed acute care teaching hospital in Dallas County, we're seeking an experienced Electrocardiogram Technician to join our team. This is a challenging position that requires strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

About the Job:

We offer a highly competitive salary of approximately $55,000 per year, plus benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. As an Electrocardiogram Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring and recording heart rhythms on patients in our telemetry department.

  • Provide high-quality patient care by accurately interpreting electrocardiogram readings and reporting any changes or concerns to physicians and nurses.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as at least six months of related work experience. You must also complete a basic dysrhythmia course with an acceptable score during orientation and an annual recertification course in basic dysrhythmia with an acceptable score.
