Job Summary

FDH Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Account Manager to join our team. As a key customer contact and consultant, you will be responsible for recommending solutions, quoting, selling, troubleshooting, and fulfilling orders for mechanical products.

This role requires strong sales and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work closely with the sales team to obtain competitive pricing and cost information. You will also be responsible for developing and achieving annual sales budgets, identifying growth opportunities, and updating rolling forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and achieve annual sales budgets for assigned accounts
  • Identify and capture growth opportunities that support growth strategies
  • Update rolling forecasts monthly and report on variances
  • Lead the proposal process for assigned accounts
  • Process quotes, orders, pricing, availability, shipping cost, and other related information
  • Work closely with the sales team to obtain competitive pricing and cost information
  • Recommend and establish target-selling prices and obtain necessary approvals
  • Compile supporting data, pricing strategy, and contractual framework for multi-year proposals
  • Conduct monthly follow-up and reporting on the status of key quotations and proposals
  • Communicate negotiation outcomes and ensure contract copies are documented, approved, and distributed
  • Assess customer information to anticipate changes affecting sales revenues and budget plans
  • Monitor and maintain profitability with key accounts consistent with overall division strategy

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the aerospace industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Knowledge of Quantum software and OEM business environment
  • Ability to demonstrate selling skills, negotiate, and build relationships with a strong customer focus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company proprietary software programs
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Strong customer service attitude and demeanor
  • Organized and efficient time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
