Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Technical Discipline Specialist at GE Aerospace, where you will play a key role in enhancing our services technology and integrating customer data. As part of our team, you will be responsible for capturing and analyzing engine/product performance parameters, including reliability, availability, maintenance, safety, and other critical metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will support the installed base by resolving customer issues, implementing service bulletins, monitoring diagnostics, and configuring fleet data.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines using prior experience and acquired expertise to execute policy and strategy.
  • You will understand key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish your work, ensuring seamless integration with other teams and contributing to the area's success.
  • You will have the ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters with guidance, using prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent, providing informal guidance to new team members.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in services/installed base engineering.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, and final offers will be contingent on the ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
