Job Title: Advanced Speech and Language Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team as an Advanced Speech and Language Therapist. In this role, you will work with patients who require speech therapy services, assessing their needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing expert care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech and language abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to promote optimal communication skills and swallowing function.
  • Record and report patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure maximum benefit.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry developments, participating in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and expertise.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A valid Speech-Language Pathology license in Illinois (IL).
  • Current certifications in American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - one of these three is required.

Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
