Ryder System, a leading provider of supply chain solutions, is seeking a Logistics Operations Supervisor to join our team in Laurel Hill, NC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics operations and providing coaching and development to staff members.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $55,000 and $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a salaried position with a competitive compensation package.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Plan and review logistics processes to ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
  • Accountable for site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; one year or more experience in transportation, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
