Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Complete Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment of patient pathologies and injuries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Use knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to create high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and other medical professionals.
  • Explain the MRI process to patients and ensure they comply with all safety standards, screening patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance.
  • Modify technical settings and adjust scanning parameters to enhance images and minimize unnecessary exposure.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on scanner and related equipment and archive imaging data.
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and sequence of exposure, and label appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Perform radiological procedures when not performing MRI duties.
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance.
  • Become cross-trained and competent in CT procedures.
  • Perform injections of contrast media in compliance with existing operating policies and procedures.
Working Environment: The position requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, and finger use. Pushing and pulling are occasionally required. Use of a computer, keyboard, and telephone along with various office machines is an essential part of the job.   • Completion from an accredited school in radiologic technology or a related area.
  • Requires American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
  • Requires ARRT certification in MR technology.
  • 1 year previous experience in diagnostic radiology or other imaging modality preferred.
  • State License based on Clinical Specialty, as determined by state requirements.
