About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Duke University. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients develop, improve, or restore skills in activities of daily living, work or productive activities, and play or leisure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care for patients, taking into account their age, lifestyle, and individual needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Utilize a range of assessment and treatment techniques to promote patient independence and well-being.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in education and training activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required, with Master's degree preferred.
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in North Carolina.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
