Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams on patients according to state, federal, and departmental standards and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Performs mammographic, Dexa, and planar X-ray procedures on patients with a high standard of accuracy in positioning and technical factors.

Reviews each requisition/questionnaire and record prior to the exam to ensure all pertinent information is available.

Assembles and reviews patient data, history, and proper two patient identifiers.

Verifies physician orders and ensures information for radiologist's interpretation is available.

Performs all computer functions properly to ensure proper patient charging and image interpretation.

Maintains open communication with site leadership and contributes to the team and works cooperatively with peers.

Requirements

Associate's degree in an accredited RT Program or related field.

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as a staff technologist in Mammography or relevant area.

NJ State RT license.

ARRT Mammography Certification.

Current BLS certification.

Preferred

Minimum of 200 mammography exams performed within past 24 months.
