As a Staff Medical Physicist - Radiation Oncology Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures for therapy equipment
- Coordinate and assist in the maintenance and repair of medical physics equipment and radiation therapy linear accelerators and simulators
- Conduct CT performance evaluations and participate in research and development of new methods of treatment
- Collaborate with dosimetrists, therapists, and staff to ensure accurate and effective treatment planning
Requirements:
- Master's degree in medical physics, radiological physics, or related field
- 2 years of experience in clinical medical physics
- Board eligible in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in therapeutic radiological physics by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Medical Physics
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
