Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. This is a 13-week contract position in the Speech Language Pathology department.
About the Role
This SLP position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans. As an integral member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with various speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and nurses, to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapies to promote optimal patient recovery and functional abilities.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- At least 2 years of experience in outpatient settings, preferably in the Speech Language Pathology department.
Benefits and Compensation
This role offers a competitive salary range of $104,242 - $138,142 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
