Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to join our team at Health Business Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for sorting and preparing medical records for mailing and processing, as well as performing various clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry and Record Management: You will be responsible for retrieving forms, records, and patient letters for scanning and uploading data to our HBS system.
  • Clerical Duties: You may photocopy records and documents for billing and/or legal services, send and receive information via facsimile machine, prepare documents for mailing and shipping, and upload documents to appropriate payer portals.
  • Expense Management: You will manage and track postal expenses for your assigned location.
  • Patient Record Management: You will upload patient medical records as requested in preparation for clinical appeal completion.
  • Communication and Reporting: You will keep your supervisor informed of problems or issues and monitor supplies needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You should also have basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
