We are offering a competitive salary of $63,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

">

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

">
  • ">
  • Observing, assessing, documenting, and reporting resident condition/changes during rounds;">
  • Ensuring implementation of care plans as directed by the Director of Nurses and/or Administrator;">
  • Administering medications as prescribed by physicians;">
  • Conducting rounds with physicians and recording visits in clinical records;">
  • Performing narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts;">
  • Identifying significant changes in resident conditions and taking necessary action per facility policies and procedures;">
  • Overseeing and monitoring aides;">
  • Initiating and completing Incident and Accident Reports per facility policy;">
  • Discharging residents per facility policy;">
  • Completing Nursing Assessments for Physician Calls prior to calling physicians on any change in resident condition;">
  • Communicating with resident's point of contact when they ask for a status update or if there is a change in condition;">
  • Participating in special projects or functions assigned by the Director of Nurses and/or Administrator.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • ">
  • Have completed a RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university;">
  • Be an active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing;">
  • Have experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred.">
