Duties of an Exceptional Physical Therapist
  • Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans
  • Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy, and stretching
  • Help residents through their tasks and monitor their performance
  • Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants
  • Maintain resident confidence and protect the facility by keeping information confidential
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
  • Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to the team effort
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program
  • Current New York State Physical Therapist (PT) License
