Travel Nursing Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team as a Travel CNA. This opportunity allows you to travel locally by working in various GSS locations within a 150-mile radius from home address, providing care with competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, flexibility, and no contract requirement.
About the JobThis position involves assisting residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care. You will also assist with meal preparation, create a positive dining experience for the resident, and provide assistance with transfers, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care.
- Provide assistance with meal preparation, creating a positive dining experience for the resident.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.
The estimated salary for this position is $20-$25 per hour, based on the location and requirements.
