Responsibilities- Develop and implement age-specific developmental plans for pediatric patients
- Provide therapeutic play and education to patients and families
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify developmental needs
- Develop and implement interventions to address developmental delays or disorders
- Provide support and education to families on child development and parenting
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Life/Child Development or related field
- 500 hours of Child Life internship and one year experience in child development/education center
- Experience in hospital-based Child Life program preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
- Child Life Certification exam within one year of hire
