About This Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our Informatics team. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for driving growth in your assigned territory by closing new business and expanding existing relationships. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to expedite complex decisions and achieve quick wins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk and understand your assigned territory's total available market, identify high-potential accounts, and develop pipeline opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Responsible for driving profitable revenue and closing opportunities within your territory by initiating, developing, and delivering unique solutions that result in improved customer outcomes and benefits for Abbott
  • Investigate and understand assigned strategic accounts and their business environment, including goals, objectives, strategies, and competitive situations
  • Identify industry trends and changing market regulations and understand their impact on strategic accounts
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer decision-makers and influencers, build and preserve customer relationships to leverage in driving new sales and expanding existing business in the hospital space into decentralized locations in collaboration with the Centralized Informatics Account Manager
  • Proactively identify opportunities or act upon previously identified opportunities to prepare and deliver account-specific Abbott value propositions resulting in positive action
  • Act as an internal advocate for the customer, cultivate Abbott internal relationships, and leverage them to drive business objectives
  • Identify and facilitate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years' work experience

Salary: $83,000.00 - $166,000.00 per year, depending on location and experience
