Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at WMCHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices, technologies, and evidence-based guidelines to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current New York State Registered Nurse license or permittee.
  • Minimum of one year Med/Surg experience, with critical care or emergency room experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice, with knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated sound clinical skills, positive communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
