We are seeking a qualified Economics Instructor to join our team at Harper College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching multiple economic courses, including Introduction to Economics, Consumer Economics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.
Responsibilities- Teach in-person, online, hybrid, or other distance education platforms
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Meet with students during office hours
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development
- Master's degree in Economics or MBA with a concentration in Economics, plus a Bachelor's degree in Economics
- At least two semesters of college-level teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
